      Jacob Cagle is one of the Co-founding coaches that helped start the Sox Organization back in 2019. In his time with the Sox, Coach Cagle has helped place 94 players at the collegiate levels and has been able to maintain a 100% offer rate for all players that have graduated the Sox program. Coach Cagle is now starting a new venture with the Sunbelt League with the new team name Cartersville Cannons.

Jacob coached at Reinhardt University for two years. In the two years of coaching at RU, Jacob was a part of the schools second and third NAIA World Series Opening Round Appearance. Ending the first season at 34-21 and the second season at 39-21.  Before joining the Reinhardt Eagles staff and starting the Sox, Jacob was a hitting instructor at DBAT West Cobb for 2 years. 

  Prior to D-BAT, Reinhardt, The Southeast Sox, and The Cartersville Cannons, Cagle spent four years playing on the diamond at Reinhardt University from 2015-18. He played shortstop, right field and third base throughout his playing days – spending most of his time in the infield specifically third base.

During Cagle’s senior year, he helped lead the Eagles to their first NAIA Baseball Opening Round championship, 2018 Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series, and a record breaking year of the most wins in school history 41-20.

Coach Cagle is happily married to his college sweetheart Taylor Cagle (Braselton). The two reside in Cartersville, Georgia and have been together for now seven years.
